Well, my wife and I were married last week, and I'm all, as you sponsor, so that it may give permanent resident. We are both in the law of the United States now, I'm an American citizen and a foreigner who came here legally as a student. The thing is, if I make the affidavit of support, I realized that my income + assets were insufficient to support his line of 125% of poverty.
